We are a community adult mental health service that provides a wide variety of programs for those persons, age 16 throughout their life span which experience mental health problems. Our programs are designed upon evidenced based practices in mental health with the Recovery Philosophy being the primary focus. Recovery Philosophy
Recovery is a journey that must touch all aspects of the internal and external life of a person. The self is the centre of this journey. Caring for and about the self includes meeting basic needs such as shelter, food and clothing, as well as attending to one’s physical and emotional health. It also includes acquiring sound judgment, perspective and maturity. It is a journey of social and relational connection to home, family, friends and community.
Mission Statement
In partnership with our communities, staff, and volunteers, Leeds and Grenville Rehabilitation and Counselling Services provides quality comprehensive services that encourage integrity and respect by supporting personal growth toward mental wellness.
